The state of Maine is one of the most beautiful, picturesque places in the United States, with miles of beaches, lakes, and forests. With all the amazing opportunities for outdoors activities and other great recreational pursuits, there are many attractions in Maine that you shouldn't miss out on.

Most of the best attractions in Maine are related to its incredible landscape and scenery. In the town of Gray, you can see moose, bobcats, coyotes, and many other native species at the Maine Wildlife Park.

Maine is a haven for antique lovers, with some of the best shops for antiques and collectibles in the country. You're bound to find some incredible furniture and accessories at the shops in towns like Kennebunk and Wells. Other attractions in Maine related to shopping include Portland's great selection of independent clothing boutiques and bookstores.

Restaurants are also some of the best attractions in Maine. Throughout the state, you'll find plenty of places to buy fresh lobster.
