Fat burning steroids are organic compounds which are used to speed up the metabolism, increase muscle mass, and aid in weight loss. There may be different types, and some may be made to mimic naturally occurring fat burning hormones in the body. They are associated with rapid loss of body fat in many individuals, but in most cases loss is not sustained once the steroids are discontinued. Long-term steroid use is associated with a host of potential health concerns.

The use of fat burning steroids is generally considered unsafe due to various side effects which may occur. The exact reactions may depend on the type of steroid, but can include heart problems, blood pressure changes, headaches, dizziness, infertility, and sometimes personality changes. Aside from these often dangerous side effects, once steroids are not being used anymore, weight loss is usually reversed because the body cannot sustain such a rapid metabolic rate without an artificial stimulant combined with higher food intake.

There are no doctor-recommended steroids for burning fat, and many of them are illegal in many areas. Those who plan to use them for professional athletic purposes should be aware that there are often restrictions on their use in most athletic organizations as well. The best way to lose weight and burn fat is to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly with a combination of cardiovascular and weight training.

Not all diet pills are fat burning steroids. Many of them are equally as dangerous, so taking a diet supplement in almost any form is not a good idea for long-term weight loss. There are some varieties available by prescription, but these are generally recommended only for those who have a lot of weight to lose, usually twenty pounds or more.

Anyone who does choose to use fat burning steroids despite the risks should do so in moderation. They should be taken only as recommended and for a very limited amount of time. Long-term use ups the chances for severe side effects, especially when combined with other unsafe weight loss tactics.

Fat burning steroids are usually sold online through bodybuilding or weight loss sites. Most reputable pharmacies do not sell steroids. Sometimes certain similar steroids are used for medicinal purposes, usually for those with certain hormonal deficiencies. This is done only when needed and under the supervision of a doctor. It is best to discuss any new diet or exercise plan with a health care professional.

What's the best fat burning steroid?

I used one but it caused so much water retention that I couldn't tell if I lost any fat or not.

@feruze-- Of course, steroids have side effects. But then again, they're not meant to be abused and used for a long time. I don't think anyone should even attempt steroids unless they've done a lot of research about it and have spoken to others with experiences.

Many steroids help burn fat and build muscle to some degree because of their effects on metabolism. But I don't think that steroids are a good tool to lose weight and fat in general. Some competitive body builders do use them for short periods, such as before competition. I don't think there is anything wrong with that as long as they're under doctor control and follow directions.

I know some guys who are really into body building that use this stuff. I don't understand why though, because they can't take it forever and their body is going to go back to its former condition once they stop.

I think it's foolish to use fat burning steroids. A proper diet and a good exercise and weight training routine already does that like the article said. Plus, I've heard that steroids that burn fat affect a bunch of hormones in the body and can cause hair loss and shrinking of the testicles in men. Now, why would anyone want these side effects for some fat loss?!
