More facts about comic books:

  • Comic book historians often divide the history of comic books into several epochs or ages. The Golden Age covered the years 1938 to 1956, and the Silver Age was from 1956 to 1971. The Bronze and Iron Ages covered 1971 to 1980 and 1980 to 1987, respectively. The Modern Age began in 1987.
