Moldova-I know that I rather have expensive sunglasses that I can use all of the time, than an expensive haircut.
The only time I could justify an expensive haircut would be if I had long hair. Long hair requires more skill because the hair is a more prominent feature of the face.
In other words, a mistake on the haircut is more visible with long hair than with short hair. I think the most I ever paid for a haircut was $100 when I had long hair.
It was a salon in South Beach and the stylist was excellent. He made me look incredible, but I could not pay that every six weeks. One tip that the stylist told me was to wash my hair only a few times a week.
He said that the other days I could rinse my hair and simply add conditioner in order to keep my hair soft and healthy.
