I came across the word infundibular when I took a botany course. It can also be used to describe certain kinds of plant parts when they look like funnels.
I thought at first that it must be a weird combination of Greek or Latin words, but apparently it is just straight up the Latin word for funnel. That's kind of boring, really and I think it makes it more difficult to remember!
But I didn't know it was used to describe animal parts as well as plant parts.
