I love the dog camp concept. We have a golden retriever and we place him one of these dog camps when we go away on vacation. The facility resembles a large warehouse with kennels, but they let the dogs play outside (with supervision of course) all day and give them nap times and feed them. It’s an awesome experience.
This camp also has a web cam so that we can watch our dog play while we’re away. We watched him over the Internet while we were on vacation and it was an absolute riot to see him jump around and play with the other dogs. The dog boarding rates for us were about $30 a night—some might consider this a bit steep, but it was worth it for us.
By the time we came back, he was truly tired—but happy and contented. I highly recommend these dog boarding camps, which are much better for the animals than the cramped facilities you find in typical kennels.
