I have made a Boston cream pie and it's one of those desserts that has all the "wow" factor in the looks department, and is also tasty, but is still pretty easy to make.
Yellow layer cakes aren't difficult, and instant vanilla pudding does a fine filling, plus the one-bowl chocolate frosting recipe on the Hershey's Cocoa container is goof-proof.
But that butterscotch filling, now. It makes my mouth water just to think about it. And I think there’s an instant version of butterscotch pudding, too.
