AyurSlim is an herbal weight-loss supplement based on the ancient practice of Ayurveda. Produced by Himalaya Herbal Healthcare, this drug is thought to burn fat and reduce cravings, especially for sweet foods. There is some debate as to whether or not this supplement is effective, and little research has been done to prove that the ingredients result in significant weight loss. The maker of this product, however, has not made exaggerated claims in regard to the supplement's effectiveness, and has encouraged other healthy lifestyle changes in addition to taking this herbal treatment.

Ayurvedic medicine has been used for more than 3,000 years to treat practically every known health concern. Over the years, weight loss has become a major issue, and AyurSlim is said to help those who are overweight burn fat in a natural way. This drug is aimed at women and men who bear 25% to 30% body fat. The makers of this supplement claim that it can help reduce excess fat, curb cravings for sweet foods, and lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the body.

Those taking AyurSlim are advised to take two capsules a day at least 15 minutes after eating. Additionally, the makers of this supplement suggest pairing it with a healthy lifestyle that includes frequent, small, reduced-calorie meals and 20 to 60 minutes of exercise daily. Once weight-loss goals have been achieved, those taking this supplement are advised to take a single daily dose of the medication in order to keep the weight off.

Some of the key ingredients of AyurSlim include Garcinia cambogia, Terminalia chebula, and Gymnema sylvestre. These herbs are said to help detoxify the body, slow the production of fat, and reduce sugar cravings. Although these plants are generally thought to be safe, they should not be consumed by pregnant women and those with liver problems. Additionally, some of these ingredients may interfere with other drugs.

Though the recommended lifestyle changes may aid in weight loss, the results of taking AyurSlim are a matter of debate. Ingredients such as Gymnen sylvestre and Trigonella foenum-graecum have some, though limited, data that suggest that they may have an effect on weight loss and sugar cravings. On the other hand, other key ingredients like Commiphora wightii and Garcinia cambogia have very little data to prove their effectiveness in lowering human cholesterol and fat production.
