A vibratory conveyor is a type of conveying system used in industrial solutions that moves or sorts products by means of a series of vibrations. These machines can be made in many various ways to accommodate specific manufacturing or industrial needs. A vibratory conveyor will commonly control the speed and direction of elements using customized vibrations that shake parts of the machine to orient and move materials.

The most simple type of vibratory conveyor simply guides products along a linear path through the use of vibrations. These machines can also have sorting elements, where different sizes or weights of products might be guided onto different paths. In order to help guide some materials, a vibratory conveyor might have magnetized areas that will affect the movement of certain materials.

One type of vibratory conveying is called vibratory laning. In this system, specifically shaped products, such as an elongated rods or other materials, are shaken into specific lanes that might contain key terminals where the product is additionally manipulated for processing or packing. Vibratory laning is a more sophisticated vibratory conveying structure that is useful for specific kinds of products and materials.

Some conveyors will also include vibratory screening. Here, materials might be screened for shape, size, or quality while they are being sent down a conveyor. These machines may have multiple screen decks for additional screening or sorting.

Other kinds of conveyors simply roll products along using a straightforward set of belts and pulleys, but this type of conveying is not sufficient for some more complex assembly line setups. Vibratory conveyor shafts represent a set of uniquely engineered solutions for more detailed projects.
