@SkyWhisperer - That’s a hilarious story. I think we all have stories to tell about taking things apart.
I know that people who do have some electronics skills can take apart the electronics assembly from something like an old VCR or radio, and rework the parts for some other purpose.
It’s funny, but when you open up these electronic devices, you find a label that reads “no user serviceable parts” inside. It’s like they anticipate people are going to start opening things up and start playing with the product.
But who can really kill that instinct to tinker? You just have to make sure you don’t electrocute yourself.
