@burcinc-- I don't think that's a boring gift at all. I'm sure your brother will be happy about it. I sure would be because a reflex hammer isn't very cheap.
I highly recommend the Troemner reflex hammer. I think it's the best reflex hammer I've used so far. Of course, the best reflex hammer depends on which reflexes one is checking. But for general use for both adults and kids, a Troemner is a good one for a neurologist to use. The Queen's Square is handy as well but it's heavy and difficult to carry around. If the reflex hammers aren't going to leave the office though, that's not an issue.
