@clintflint - You just have to see some of the horrible things available online to see how harmful this kind of attitude can be. There are plenty of websites set up so that people can post pictures of women taken without their consent.
Often these Peeping Tom pictures are used maliciously, and can be sent to family, friends and even employers when someone wants to get revenge on a person they dislike.
And kids pick up this kind of attitude as well. I was really annoyed that I couldn't turn off the shutter sound on my phone camera and was told there was no way to do this because so many students use their phones to take "up-skirt" photos and the noise is there to dissuade them.
I mean, how disgusting is that, that a phone needs a built in warning system to stop Peeping Toms from doing their dirty work?
