I really enjoyed banana splits as a child and I have tried to come up with a healthy version as an adult. My new banana split is, banana slices frozen over night and then blended the next day. It turns into a frozen yogurt type of texture, but all banana, no dairy.
Then I top it with fresh, organic strawberries or raspberries. If I want some chocolate, I will add a little organic chocolate to flavor chopped in the blender as well. Yummy and so much healthier than the traditional banana split dessert!
