The only financial representative I have is the one at the bank. She opened my account for me and I always go to her when there is a problem or when I need to do something like transfer money to another account, open an addition account, etc.

It's actually nice to work with the same person every time because she's up to date on my accounts and needs. She handles issues very efficiently as well. Of course, I also work with the tellers to deposit or withdraw money but I don't really consider them financial representatives.

@donasmrs-- I don't see it that way. Anyone with a regular paycheck and in the middle class income range can benefit from a financial representative.

We're middle class and my father received guidance from a financial representative when he was buying a house and also saving for my college tuition. He wanted to know the best and most profitable way to save and keep his money. And when it came to taking loans or mortgage, he wanted to make sure that he was allocating his income properly so that everything was covered.

So a financial representative doesn't only work with the wealthy who are trying to invest their money. They also work with the middle class to give them advice on how best to use the money they do have.

I don't see how a wealth management professional can help a non-wealthy. Wealth management works well when there is a lot of money and property. What use is it if there's barely anything to allocate or invest with?
