@saraq90 - There is supposed to be such a thing as a cusp. The cusps are the edge dates of a sign and it is thought that you can take on characteristics of both.
There are different "cusp" dates, depending on whom you talk to, but if your husband's birthday did fall into a cusp category it would be Sagittarius and Capricorn.
What is interesting about that is that Sagittarius is supposed to be compatible with a Libra woman! And the characteristics that your husband has such as being warm and likely extroverted are Sagittarius characteristics too.
You will have to read more to see how much your relationship resembles a Sagittarius and Libra relationship!
I have heard that if someone is born on the cusp of a sign sometimes they do not fall strictly into that category. I think this is the case for my husband who is a Capricorn but he was born on the twenty fifth of December making him almost another sign.
So he does not fit a strictly Capricorn profile (he is practical and driven but he *never* comes off as cold or conventional) and his Capricorn love compatibility definitely does not fit as well (or so I would like to think as his wife)!
I am a Libra with whom he is not supposed to be compatible and it seems we get on ridiculously well both when we were dating and in the romantic phase to the marriage and co-habitating together phase.
So hopefully we will be able to beat the astrological fate! And we can be of hope to other Capricorn - Libra relationships.
But has anyone else heard of the "cusp" idea? That if you are born at the edge of the birthday realm of a sign then you could assume characteristics of that other sign?

I don’t mean to be rude, but I think it’s safe to say that all of this stuff is just a bunch of hogwash. It’s people without a conscience taking advantage of people looking desperately for direction.
How can you disprove something that is based solely on faith in the stars and the soul and all of those things that cannot be proven or seen?
That’s easy – you can’t. And while there are many folks out there who claim that they only believe what they see, there are many more that find it more than easy to believe in things they can’t see at all. After all, entire cultures and religions have been founded on just this idea.
Take, for instance, all of these Capricorn characteristics – who doesn’t have some of these traits at some point in their life? It’s easy to take these traits and ideas and say, “Hey! This is who you are!”
Why? Because these traits are a part of all of us, including Capricorns.
Capricorns are often very spiritually minded people, as well. They have old souls, as they are the tenth oldest sign of the zodiac.
According to astrologers, this means that their souls are in their tenth life. In other words, they’ve learned a lot along the way on their path of enlightenment. They've only got two more to go before they are where they need to be.
Although I don’t put all of my eggs in the astrological basket (they are too many scammers out there taking advantage of good people for me to do that) I do think that there must be at least some validity to it.
I’ve met very few Capricorns that aren’t a ‘typical’ Capricorn. They all exhibit at least ninety percent of Capricorn traits, I’d say, give or take.
I think that this is probably true of most of the astrological signs, even for those who skeptically cannot rationalize that something this mystic could also be true.
I am a Capricorn, and I have always been astounded at how accurate a lot of the claims of astrologers are. I am super practical in just about every way, and I do strive to reach a certain amount of financial freedom.
I think it’s safe to say that I am a slow starter, but once I’ve got something nobody is going to beat me at it. I think that many people could perceive me to be cold, as I am practically protective of myself and my feelings.
However, those who get to know me do see a whole other side of the Capricorn being, which includes loyalty and dependability.
One other thing that always is a dead ringer is the compatibility thing. I always dated Scorpios and Taurus’s, quite by accident, until I met my husband (who is a Leo).
I will definitely say that I get on more easily with the Scorpio and Taurus breeds, but I love my lion, too.
It's a little scary how much the capricorn horoscope claims are correct; at least for me they are.
