I like to drink a beer once in a while, but the low-carb beers just taste watery to me. So, I look at it like a dessert. I have one good beer and enjoy it, and that's it. Like I'll eat one or two cookies, enjoy them and then leave them alone.
Moderation really is the key, whether it's alcohol, sweets or anything else. Have it occasionally, enjoy it and then leave it alone for a while.
