@dega2010: This is the recipe that I use for homemade flan. It tastes just like what you would get in a Mexican restaurant.
You need to melt 3 Tbsp. of white sugar over low heat in a medium sized pot. It will end up a light brown color like caramel. Go ahead and pour it into a flan mold. In a blender, mix 2 cans of condensed milk, 2 cans of evaporated milk, 16 oz. of whole milk, and 4 eggs. Pour this mixture into the mold and bake at 375 for about an hour.
Allow to cool and then refrigerate for about an hour. Serve cold.
