How Much US Paper Currency Is Printed Each Day?

It is estimated that an average of 26 million notes of US currency are printed each day. About 95% of them are to be used as replacement notes. About 45% of the US paper currency printed each day is $1 US Dollar (USD) bills, which tend to have the most wear and tear because of high usage. The combined value of the US paper currency printed each day is thought to be about $900 million USD, and each note costs an average of about 6 cents to produce.
