How Many Hamburgers does McDonald's Sell?

McDonald's serves more than 75 hamburgers per second for every hour of every day of the year. These are served to almost 30 million customers daily in the United States alone, and they require more than a billion pounds of beef a year — that's almost 6 million cows, making the company the number one meat purchaser in the world.

More facts about McDonald's:

  • Nearly 40 percent of McDonald's restaurants are open 24/7, and many more are open at least 18 hours a day.

  • The two most popular items on the McDonald's menu are the double cheeseburger and fries.

  • Globally, there are more than 31,000 McDonald's locations in more than 118 countries, including Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan and Libya. There are also McDonald's restaurants on the U.S. military bases in Cuba and Iraq.

Mcdonalds is killing people! Put an end to this and boycott them immediately! If you don't believe me, ask your friends about the book "Chew on This" or look up what happened to Sam Frabrikant!

In 1968, my mother purchased for me my first Big Mac. It was wrapped in aluminum foil of color, and the twin burgers were wrapped with a cardboard band. I wonder what ever happened to that great taste and package. It was as if you were opening a present, not just a sandwich.
