@donna61: I am currently reviewing an offer from my land lord,for a three year land contract. The escrow payments we make he will use to pay both the taxes and insurance. Your "seller" should have this written out for you, and the details should be in the final contract. Also, don't be afraid to ask. If the "seller" is not forthcoming with this information, that may be a cause for a red flag and you may want to reconsider.
