I would like to become a plant manager, but would probably go for a food plant. Being the manager of a chemical plant would be a lot of responsibility. Anything could cause an explosion, and there could possibly be chemical spills. Depending the chemical, workers could get chemical burns too. I think I will definitely stick to food. |

About 5 years ago I worked at a plant. One of my co-workers became a production manager. He actually quit his position as a line worker. Then he applied for grants to college and obtained his education. After about 3 years, he came back to the plant and applied for a job as a production manager. The factory needed one, and it just so happened he had finished his education. It was all quite surreal. |
