Do More People Live in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere?

The vast majority of the world’s population lives in the northern hemisphere. Only about 10 percent of all people live in the southern hemisphere, which includes Australia, the southern portion of Africa, Antarctica and most of South America. The northern hemisphere is composed of Europe, most of Asia and Africa, North America and the northern portion of South America.
