How do I keep the soil under my tomatoes moist without having to water too much |
||||
Here is a great trick, when you plant your tomato seedling plants. Purchase a small package of super absorbant baby diapers, tear off all the plastic and place a large wad of the center filling in the bottom of the hole before placing your new plant in there. The diaper materal will hold water at the roots of the plant throughout the growing season. Of course you will still have to water but not as much.
